Faux JPL Chainmaille Spike Earrings
+ This weave has kicked my A$$ for YEARS now. I started using it in a much smaller size recently and would lose my placing every other ring. So. Frustrating. I picked up my larger rings that were said to work for it and was ABLE TO START IT FROM SCRATCH WITHOUT ANY INSTRUCTIONS. WOO-hoo! Turns out it was false JPL all along - regardless, I prefer the faux JPL in the ring size I have- Celebrating by offering them as earrings. This weave (faux or no) is still hard to me and I'm kind of slow at it like with Byzantine.
+ Handwoven Chainmaille
+ Each ring was hand woven and placed by me.
+ Stainless Steel Jump Rings (sourced and made in USA and/or Canada).
+ Base metal silver spike charms.
+ Include stainless steel regular earwires. These just are more comfortable sometimes. Leverback upgrades are available here.
+ Some people may not understand the time involved in making chainmaille jewelry. Every ring is opened by hand individually then woven in a special way to create the pattern shown, then the ring has to be closed. Chainmaille takes time and talent to create: appreciate!
