Rustic Copper Concho Necklace

+ Concho pendant is repurposed from a vintage concho belt that I got at an estate sale.

+ This chainmaille necklace is made from machine cut copper jump rings. Each ring was hand woven and placed by me.

+What makes it "rustic"?? I'm calling this style rustic and being totally transparent - the rings don't come to a completely flush closure when put together. You'll feel a little texture when running your fingers down the chain. My usual rings are saw cut - this allows for a perfectly smooth closure. 

+Patina has been applied to one side of this necklace, in time the patina WILL FADE. Probably never completely. I'm considering offering a service to re-patina if people are interested. The less the choker touches your skin, the less it will fade. The oils on your skin will naturally change the patina, and the bright copper side over time. 

+ Some people may not understand the time involved in making chainmaille jewelry. Every ring is opened by hand individually then woven in a special way to create the pattern shown, then the ring has to be closed. Chainmaille takes time and talent to create - appreciate!

+ Weave used is called Half Persian 4-in-1

+ This necklace combines my unique 10+ years of experience with chainmaille jewelry and my western/ punk style.

+ Main concho piece is gunmetal color.

+ Choker length is 17" including gunmetal lobster clasp. I just cut it out of the picture sorry.
